Four Steam Locomotives! Niles Canyon Railway Steamfest II
Four tank engines running at the Niles Canyon Railway on September 20, 2009 as part of Steamfest II. The railroad runs between Fremont and Sunol, California, on the right-of-way of the former Southern Pacific. The locomotives featured are Quincy 2-6-2T No. 2, Robert Dollar 2-6-2T No. 3, Mason County Logging 2-6-2T No. 7 (from Roots of Motive Power) and Granite Rock 0-6-0T No. 10 (from the California State Railroad Musuem). The footage was filmed during special "Photographer's Trains" that were run in the morning and afternoon, and aboard a special quadrupleheader that ran to Hearst.
